Uzbek power plant outage cuts electricity to Kazakh consumers

ASTANA. Sept 25 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — An emergency shutdown of 1.5 gigawatts of generation in Uzbekistan's power grid on the morning of Sept 25 curbed supply to Kazakh consumers by 962 megawatts, grid operator KEGOC said.
