Qarmet continues switching blast furnaces from coal to gas

ASTANA. Oct 21 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The Qarmet metallurgical plant (formerly ArcelorMittal Temirtau) is continuing the process of switching its blast furnaces from coal to gas, the conversion of the final furnace is at its completion stage, Yerbol Ismailov, Managing Director for Sustainable Development at Qarmet, told Interfax-Kazakhstan.
