Tokayev proposes shift to single-chamber parliament

ASTANA. Sept 8 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev proposed transitioning from a bicameral to a unicameral parliament, suggesting the matter could be decided by a national referendum in 2027.
