Russian govt discusses measures to support metal manufacturers amid rising competition from foreigners on market

MOSCOW. Aug 29 (Interfax) - Proposals for additional measures to support the metal industry, namely regarding competition between domestic producers of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and foreign participants, were discussed at a meeting of the subcommittee on improving the stability of the financial sector and individual sectors of the economy, the Russian government's press service said.
